Congratulations to Montverde Academy Headmaster Dr. Kasey C. Kesselring who was recently appointed to the Orlando Economic Development Commission Board. Dr. Kesselring’s selection is a very special regional honor. The OEDC Board of Directors work with regional legislators to strengthen the economic growth endeavors of the Orlando, Florida, region.
According to their public policy statement, the OEDC board works during Florida Legislative Sessions with the EDC’s Legislative Affairs Committee (LAC), EDC investor companies, and “…education, local government, and industry trade association partners to drive home the importance of generating high-wage jobs throughout our region and the state… to ensure that our state Legislators understand the programs and funding mechanisms necessary to build and diversify Florida’s economy, creating a world-class business location.”
