Last season the Eagles successfully defeated Oak Hill Academy, of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia (47-1), 70-61, to win the 2015 DICK’s Nationals Championship. After that victory, the 2014-2015 Montverde Academy Boys’ Varsity Basketball team became the first high-school basketball team to win three consecutive national titles since the decade of the 1940s. The team’s final season record was 31-1. The astounding “3-PEAT”. MVA now seeks a 4-PEAT! Also remarkable is that the MVA Boys’ Varsity Basketball program also improved their record to 132-8 over the last five seasons under MVA Head-Coach Kevin Boyle.
