As a reminder, TODAY (Tuesday, March 15th ) MVA’s Athletic Department will be hosting their inaugural Spring Sports Jam! All spring sports, boys and girls tennis, boys lacrosse, softball and baseball will be competing on this day throughout the MVA Athletic Complex. Additionally, seniors (members of the Class of 2016) participating on their respective teams will be recognized.
MVA will be hosting numerous athletic teams in tennis, softball, baseball, and lacrosse. MVA seniors participating in tennis will be recognized in conjunction with lacrosse team’s seniors during halftime of the lacrosse game. There will be a cookout style meal served for our boarding student population beginning at 5:00pm until 6:00pm.
This will be in place of dinner at the dining hall. Athletic Department staff will be visiting the dorms with wristbands for all boarding students. These wristbands will assist our dining hall staff in differentiating our students from students of opposing teams. Residential staff may also take part in this meal.
Friends, family, and members of the opposing teams’ communities will be encouraged to bring cash for meals and snacks at the concession stand as the cookout will not be offered to them. 4:00pm: Montverde Academy Varsity Tennis vs. Eustis High School
6:00pm: Montverde Academy Girls Softball vs. Trinity Catholic – seniors will be recognized prior to the first pitch (roughly between 5:50pm-6:00pm)
6:00pm: Montverde Academy Lacrosse vs. Windermere Prep – lacrosse and tennis seniors will be recognized during halftime (approximately 6:45pm)
7:00pm: Montverde Academy Varsity Baseball vs. Apopka High School – seniors will be recognized prior to the first pitch (roughly 6:50pm-7:00pm)
