TopDrawerSoccer.com has selected Montverde Academy’s Boys’ Varsity Soccer team as the #1 SIMA FAB 50 Winter Pre-Season High School Soccer team in the United States: “Montverde Academy starts the 2015-16 high school season with a 117-match undefeated streak, which includes No. 1 SIMA FAB 50 finishes four of the past five seasons (No. 2 the other year). Mr. Brad Long, Montverde Academy Business Manager and 2016 MAST Director, has confirmed the eight-team field for Montverde Academy’s 5th annual high-school soccer tournament (listed below). This year’s MAST Participants combined for a 167-17-16 record last year – that led to a national title and four separate state championships. The 2016 MAST will be held January 14-16, 2016, on Montverde Academy’s athletic fields. MVA Boys’ Varsity Soccer Eagles are currently 8-0-0 this season. Last season, they were 23-0-0 and completed their season ranked #1 in the United States by Top Drawer Soccer.com. According to TopDrawerSoccer.com, “Chandler (Chandler, Ariz.), Gulliver Prep (Miami, Fla.), Cathedral (Los Angeles, Calif.) and St. Paul’s (Covington, Calif.) are coming off state title-winning seasons. Sam Houston (Arlington, Texas) was a Texas 5A state semifinalist.
