The Lower School brought some holiday cheer to the Sandra O. Stephen’s Auditorium as students showcased their talents during the annual holiday performances.
On December 5, Mrs. Sinopoli’s kindergarteners, Mrs. Cook’s first graders, and Ms. McDaniel’s second graders delighted the audience with their spirited performances of “Elfis and the Sleigh Riders,” “A Holiday Moosical,” and “Forty Winks ‘til Christmas.” Each class brought festive joy to the stage, combining music, movement, and holiday magic.
On December 12, Mrs. Calamaras’ third-grade class, Mr. Hand’s and Mrs. Kuhn’s fourth-grade classes, and Mrs. Bartley’s fifth-grade class took the stage with their unique interpretation of “Christmas Calling.” The joyful performance highlighted the students’ dramatic skills and enthusiasm, creating a heartwarming experience for all in attendance.
“There is no greater reward than watching the students bring their show to life before an audience,” said Ms. Cyndi Cunningham, Lower School Technology and Theatre Arts teacher. “It’s a magical experience.”
Both nights were filled with fun, laughter, and the holiday spirit. Families, friends, and teachers were so proud of the students’ hard work and creativity!
