On Saturday, February 6th, Montverde Academy students competed in the Florida District 6 Vocal and Piano Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Hagerty High School, located in Oviedo, Florida. Montverde Academy had 16 student-musicians competing in multiple categories and earned a total of 9 scores of Superior (1st place) and 6 scores of Excellent (2nd place). All of the high school students who earned superiors in the competition will now travel to the state competition in April to compete for honors and scholarships. Congratulations to all!
