Bishops Gate Golf Academy (BGGA), a junior golf academy in academic partnership with Montverde Academy, allows its boarding students enrolled at MVA with the opportunity to train in after-school golf programs and year-round junior golf competitions. A strong emphasis is placed on the personal development and constructive alignment of values so BGGA junior golfers can achieve the highest levels of success in all aspects of their lives. 2015-2016 BGGA admissions materials includes a quote from MVA/BGGA 2015 graduate Tiger Lee (University of New Mexico) that perhaps best exemplifies the of a MVA/BGGA student-athlete experience: “Between Montverde Academy and BGGA, everyone has room to learn and develop both academically and athletically with their world-class programs and facilities. The 2015 Bishops Gate Golf Academy October Open House allows prospective students with the unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with what life as a MVA/BGGA student is all about. The event will take place October 25th -31st at the school’s location in nearby Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. At the event, BGGA will offer a week-long version of our full-time programs and provide the opportunity for guests to visit Montverde Academy to better understand the complete MVA/BGGA student experience. Montverde Academy students from ages 12 – 18 who meet BGGA’s overall junior golf proficiency standards can apply to attend BGGA’s unique and positively motivating full-time junior golf program that focuses on building academic excellence, developing strength of character, and achieving peak golf performance.
