Last Thursday evening, select faculty and staff sponsors accompanied 2015-2016 Montverde Academy Leadership Institute students, from each school division, to an enjoyable dinner at Bella Collina – a popular regional golf course and restaurant clubhouse “…situated amongst spring-fed Lake Siena and Lake Apopka in the rare rolling hills of Montverde.” The dinner was scheduled to provide L.I students with an opportunity to practice their skills in etiquette. Montverde Academy sponsors were Mr. Chris Mitchell, Director of Development and Government Relations, Mrs. Lori Treweek, Upper-school Science teacher, and Mr. Phil Prescott, Religious & Bible Studies teacher. Local businessman, Mr. Mark Graff, of Mark Graff, of Graff Holdings, LLC, was the special guest. Mr. Graff is also the owner of Sylvan Learning Center in Clermont, Florida, and serves on the South Lake Hospital Board. After the event, Mr. Prescott informed Montverde.org that he was “…incredibly proud of this group of student leaders. They handle themselves with confidence and impeccable manners. I would gladly introduce them to anyone knowing they would represent themselves and Montverde Academy with distinction.”
