Lake County Welcomes New Women’s Soccer League
The Orlando Kicks FC is starting its first season in the Women’s Premier Soccer League. Sponsored by Lake County Economic Development & Tourism, the team will play its home games here at Montverde Academy.

Middle School Spanish Students Score Well on Exams!
Middle School students scored well and attained national recognition for an excellent performance on the 2016 National Spanish Examinations! The students were honored at the Middle School Honors Night.

MVA Presents Teachers of the Year
Over last month, MVA presented our annual Teacher of the Year Award to three extremely talented and dedicated educators: Mrs. Lori Treweek, Upper School Social Sciences and Government teacher, received the award in the Upper School, Mr. Tom Narducci Middle School History teacher for the Middle School, and Mrs. Kelly Kusterman, Lower School 4th grade teacher, in the Lower School.

Next School Year’s Theatre Shows Announced!
The MVA Theatre Department is pleased to announce that 13, the musical and Big River will be the mainstage productions for our 2016-2017 school year. 13, the musical, is adapted from a book by Dan Elish with music and lyrics by composer Jason Robert Brown. Big River is the musical adaptation of Mark Twain's classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Montverde Alumni show support for #OrlandoUnited at Orlando City game
On Saturday, June 18, Montverde Academy staff and alumni headed to the Orlando City game versus San Jose to show their support for #OrlandoUnited and honor the victims lost in this month’s tragic Pulse nightclub shooting.
